1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and ePake Express Inc. ("JiBeJib", "we"), the company that runs the JiBeJib website and services. By creating an account or using JiBeJib you agree to them, together with the Privacy Policy, the Risk Disclosure, the AML and KYC Policy and the Cookie Policy.

2. What JBEX is, and what it is not

JiBeJib is a marketplace where people find each other to exchange currencies. A seller publishes an order, other traders send bids, and the seller accepts the bids they choose. Each accepted bid becomes a deal, and the two people then pay each other directly, from their own bank or payment accounts.

  • JiBeJib never receives, holds, sends or guarantees money. There are no balances, wallets or escrow on JiBeJib.
  • JiBeJib is not a party to your deal. The exchange is an agreement between you and your counterparty.
  • JiBeJib charges no transaction fee. Your bank or payment provider may charge separately.
  • Rates shown on the site are indicative, not offers. The rate of a deal is the one in the accepted bid.

3. Who can use JBEX

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement.
  • You may hold one account, in your own name, and you must keep its details accurate.
  • You must verify your email address before you publish an order, place a bid or accept one. Until you verify your identity, each order, bid and deal stays under a limit set for the currency the seller gives, shown where you enter the amount. Verifying your identity lifts that limit.
  • You may not use JiBeJib if you are subject to sanctions, act for someone who is, or if using it would break the law where you live. You are responsible for knowing and following the currency, tax and sanctions rules that apply to you.

4. Your account and its security

  • Keep your password and sign-in codes to yourself, and turn on two-step verification.
  • You are responsible for what is done through your account until you tell us it has been compromised.
  • If you think someone else has used your account, tell us right away.

5. Orders

  • As a seller you set the order's terms: the total amount, the rate range, the minimum portion, who pays first, the payment method, the deadline, the payment sequence and who can see it (everyone, or only your Circle).
  • Terms are not negotiated. Once a bid exists, changing the amount, rate, payment method or deadline creates a new version of the order, and bidders are asked to confirm again.
  • You may accept any active bid at any time, and several bids from one order, as long as the total stays within the order. A bid accepted by a rule you set counts as accepted by you.
  • Publish only orders you intend and are able to complete.

6. Bids

  • A bid states an amount and a rate within the seller's terms. Bids are sealed: other bidders never see yours.
  • A bid is binding once you submit it. You can withdraw it until it is accepted; from then on it is a deal.
  • If the amount still available changes before you submit, you are asked to review it again. A bid is never changed without you.

7. Deals and settlement

  • A deal follows the steps on its page. The first payer sends their payment and marks it sent; the other side confirms once the money has arrived in their own account; then the second payment follows in the same way.
  • Uploading a receipt only says that you sent a payment. It does not prove that the money arrived. Confirm receipt only when you see the money in your own account.
  • Pay exactly the agreed amount, from an account you are entitled to use, before the deadline.
  • If a deadline passes or a payment is reported reversed, the deal is put on hold for review and a case is opened. While a deal is on hold, steps that would contradict each other are paused.

8. How you must behave

You must not:

  • use JiBeJib for fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing or to get around sanctions;
  • send fake or altered receipts, or confirm or deny a payment untruthfully;
  • trade with yourself, arrange reviews, or otherwise distort trust figures;
  • harass, threaten or deceive other users;
  • try to break, overload or get around the security of the service.

Chat messages cannot be edited or deleted. Sharing contact details or moving a deal off JiBeJib brings up a warning: outside JiBeJib there are no records, and we cannot help.

9. Reviews and trust figures

Only the two people in a completed deal can review it, once each. Trust figures always show their base and period, and new traders are labelled as new. Identity verification is shown separately and says nothing about how someone pays.

10. Disputes and what JBEX can do

If something goes wrong, open a case. We look at the deal, its chat and its records, and we may pause the deal, restrict accounts or close them. We cannot reverse bank transfers, recover money or compensate you for what a counterparty does. Where a crime may have happened, we may share records with the authorities as the law allows or requires.

11. Restricting, suspending and closing accounts

  • We may restrict, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts others at risk. A restricted or suspended account can finish the deals already in progress, but cannot publish, bid or accept.
  • You can appeal a decision, and a different reviewer looks at the appeal.
  • You can close your account when you have no deals in progress. We keep the records the law requires, as the Privacy Policy explains.

12. Liability

JiBeJib is offered as it is during the pilot. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses caused by your counterparty, your bank, exchange-rate movements or events outside our control, and our total liability to you is limited (the limit is to be confirmed before launch). Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Each new version is published on this page with its date, and you are asked to accept it before you trade again.

14. Law and complaints

These terms are governed by the law of a jurisdiction to be confirmed before launch. If you have a complaint, write to us. We answer every complaint and tell you what happens next.
