How settlement works: you pay each other directly

Each deal has two payments, one in each currency. The second only starts after the first is confirmed received.

JiBeJib never touches the money. Each side pays from their own bank account to the other's, using the payment methods in the deal.

Who pays first

A JiBeJib rule, the same on every order: whoever sends Toman pays first. On a pair without Toman, the side with the shorter trust record on JiBeJib pays first, and the requester on a tie. The record counts a verified identity, completed trades, friends whose identity is verified, an account older than 30 days and a LinkedIn profile; a missed payment deadline shortens it. The request shows who pays first before it is sent, and that stays fixed for the deal.

The steps

  1. The first payer pays within the payment window shown on the deal.
  2. They upload the receipt. This only marks the payment as claimed sent: a receipt is evidence, not proof.
  3. The recipient checks their own bank account and confirms what arrived.
  4. Only then does the second payment unlock, and the other side pays the same way.

A payment can be split into several installments; each is tracked with its own balance.

If something goes wrong

A missed deadline or a reported reversal puts the deal on hold, under review, and opens a case with our team. While on hold, conflicting actions are paused. See the other side says they paid.

Never confirm a payment you can't see in your own account, whatever a screenshot shows.
