Credit score and trading levels

Your credit score sets how much you can trade in one order and, on pairs without Toman, who pays first.

What the credit score is

A number from 0 to 190 that only you see, in Profile & settings → Credit score, with every point behind it. Other traders never see it.

How you earn points

  • Verified identity: 40 points.
  • Completed trades: 5 points each, up to 30. Trades with the same person count twice at most.
  • Account older than 30 days: 10 points.
  • LinkedIn on your profile, once our team has checked it is yours: 10 points. Removing it takes them away.
  • Invited friends who become active, by verifying their identity or completing a trade: 10 points each, up to 10 friends (100 points). If their account is suspended or closed, the points are taken back.
  • A missed payment deadline takes 15 points away for 6 months.

What a higher score does

  • Larger orders. Your score sets your trading level, and each level allows a larger order. Without a verified identity you stay at level 0; level 1 and up need a verified identity. Credit score shows the limit of every level in each currency.
  • Paying second. On a pair without Toman, the trader with the lower score pays first, so a higher score means you pay second more often. On a pair with Toman, whoever sends Toman always pays first, whatever the score.
  • Your requests stand out. Among requests at the same rate, the seller sees the one from the higher score first. Automatic acceptance still goes by who asked first.

What it is not

The score is about your record on JiBeJib. It is not a promise that anyone will pay: always confirm a payment in your own bank account before you mark it received.
